Puffy 3 Tone Pink “Shinny Pink” Circle Lens Review

Last week I received a package from Shoppingholics.com. They sent me the Puffy 3 Tone in Shinny Pink (~$25) to review on my blog. When I opened up my package, I found all of my items nicely wrapped in this cute transparent plastic bag.

The bag contained 1 contact lens case, 1 pair of Puffy 3 Tone circle lens, 1 pair of velcro hair accessory, and a thank you card.

The Puffy 3 Tone contacts were nicely protected by bubble wrap. After opening the bubble wrap, I found a cute little box that contained the circle lens.

I was really excited to try on the circle lens, so I quickly ripped off the metal seals and put the lens into the contact case.

The Puffy 3 Tone circle lens in Pink are pretty cute. The outside rim isn’t too dramatic, so it looks pretty natural. The pink is a nice soft pink and the center has a bit of hazel brown in it.

Here is what the circle lens looks like with different lightings:

And finally, here is me wearing the Puffy 3 Tone circle lens in Pink. What do you think?

What I think about the Circle Lens:

I like them overall. The lens color is pretty, in some lighting, it can look either hot pink, purple, pinkish brown, or even a bit red. The hazel brown color in the center really adds to the circle lens in giving it a more complex look. These lenses don’t look flat, but they also don’t make your eyes look like they are popping out of their sockets. The contacts are also very soft on the look of your eyes, which is perfect if you are going for a sweet dolly type of look or want to wear less make up. But of course, you can go the opposite and always dress it up with crazy eye makeup and it will look good that way as well.

The only main problem that I have with these lenses is that my eyes tend to be red quite often (yes I know I should use eyedrops more often, especially since I do carry them around with me everywhere!). When you wear these pink lenses in particular with having red eyes, you look like a crazy person. In fact, your entire eye starts to look red!

But anyways, other than that I can’t think of any reason I would not like them. They are comfortable, I can wear them for long hours, they enlarge (it would be even more enlarging if it has a darker rim around it though), and it looks a little more natural than other pink circle lenses that I’ve seen (common, how natural can pink lenses even get?). These circle lenses have a bit of that grainy type of look, but with a direction and more lines.. do you know what I’m saying? It’s a good thing, and it helps make it look a bit more natural. Also in certain angles, it makes you look like you have a pink ring around your eye (similar to the famous Geo Wings collection, I am a fan of those, haha).

I don’t think these are my favorite circle lenses, but I see how they could look amazing on some other people… I feel like you either need to be super tan or have unbelievably soft looking milky white skin to pull off these circle lens. What do you think?

Puffy 3 Tone in Shinny Pink Overall Rating: ★★★★☆
Color:  ★★★★★
Enlargement: ★★★☆☆
Comfort: ★★★★☆
Natural-ness: ★★★☆☆

Anyways, I got these lenses from the site below, so check them out!

** These circle lens were sponsored by Shoppingholics.com. This is actually my first time getting contact lenses from them, but I think that they are a great circle lens provider and I would totally purchase my next pair from them!

Hope you all enjoyed my review!
