My Christmas Wish List

christmas wish list 2013

Happy Friday the 13th!

Anyways, Christmas is oh so very close!
So close I can almost smell it ~ lol. No, but seriously, it’s right around the corner.
When did that happen? Time seriously needs to take a break from flying.

I’m happy to say that I’ve officially finished all of my Christmas shopping.
Today I took the time to think about what I would like to have for Christmas.

Honestly, it was very difficult to think of stuff.
I have either purchased everything that I would want to have,
or don’t really have much of a need for what I kinda want.
But here’s a list of some items (and others) that I managed to think of.

Here are some Marc Jacobs Watches that I like. I think this was on my Christmas Wish List from last year? Maybe I should beg my man to buy one of these for me finally. I always loose track of time and misplace my phone, so a watch might be very useful for me.

If I described each of these watches with one word, it would be (from left to right): Unique, Fashionable, and Trendy.

Question: Which one of these watches should I get?

As of late, I’ve been in search of some nice riding boots . It’s kind of hard to find the right pair, just because I’m a  bit particular with how the detailing should not look. Haha, I haven’t figured out how I want them to look yet. I find that it’s much easier to say no to a style than it is to say yes. The ones in the photograph above are Tory Burch ‘Blaire’ Riding Boots. I don’t know if these are still on sale anywhere since they are older, but I guess the ‘Rosalie’ Riding Boots ($332) from Nordstrom are also quite nice. Just not sure if I want to dedicate that much money to it yet.

I haven’t quite kept my eyes on the look out for a faux fur coat though. I think this is another item on my wish list that sort of carried over from last years, except last year I wanted specifically a leopard print faux fur coat. Currently, I want more of a shaggy looking coat that makes your outfit look either very stylish or fancy. Haha, but of course my chances of finding one under $100 are probably very slim. I’ll have to do some research on this one if I really want it. Problem is that it doesn’t stay very cold in California for me to make owning this coat worth the money.

There’s a few hats that I’ve been eying for a while now. These actually aren’t even all of them! I’m not sure that I would buy the Veil Beanie though, I would probably just do a DIY for that one.

I do love the look of Cloche Hats however, as they are elegant and from the 1920’s. I never thought I would like it until one day I tried one on inside of Goorin Bros’ hat shop in San Diego.

As for the Bowler Hat, I just think it would go along with a lot of outfits. It’s very versatile and can be dressed up or down. Haha, and it reminds me of Breaking Bad!

I don’t imagine that I’ll buy any one of these anytime soon, unless I find the right one. A lot of hats vary a lot and can be a make or break. It’s pretty surprising how little changes in details and shape can make all the difference.

Today is a very special day where a lot of tattoo parlors celebrate Friday the Thirteenth. Usually there are $13 tattoo specials with a lucky $7 tip. That totals your spending to $20 for a quarter size tattoo. The only thing is that you need to pick from a list of tattoos that they are offered for the promotion. These tattoos usually all have the number 13 somehow incorporated within. I wanted to get one today because of the cheap price, but have decided that I should probably just pay more and get what I want. Haha, smart move ey?

A few tattoos that I really want to get are a rose, whale, and geometric tattoo. I really think roses are beautiful, so I want one for each member of my family.

Whales have been a big part of my life growing up, and even now. Most of my dreams involve some body of water. Whenever I dream of water, you can most likely expect there to be some whales involved. I have no idea what all of this means, but they’ve been with me for as long as I can remember. They aren’t the friendliest in my dreams either…

Being a graphic designer and artist, who couldn’t say yes to a geometric tattoo? I think it’s beautiful. I am a huge fan of symmetry, which is why the number 8 is my favorite number.

Which tattoo should I get first and where should I put it?

This is something that I really need to invest in a long time ago. I’m pretty embarrassed that I haven’t done so yet! This would make taking photos so much easier, and it’s not even that expensive. Oh for shame~

These are probably the first things that I would need. But once I obtain these two, I’ll also need to get a wireless mic, material for backgrounds, lighting, and an external monitor!

Ever since I attended the 2013 Comic Con, I couldn’t quite seem to get my mind off of this one item. I’m pretty disappointed though that the price of it has gone up since I first learned about it. Despite that, I still want it. I WANT TO BECOME A JEDI! Lol, oh don’t act like I can’t see you rolling your eyes behind your monitor.

Honestly, I will take any decent lightsaber that I can get my hands on at this point. Sadly, I saw the Hasbro series go on sale for $80 (after discounts) on ThinkGeek.com, but I didn’t bite the deal! This is the cheapest that I’ve seen for the almost movie-like replicas.

If I could pick any lightsaber though, it wouldn’t be a replica, but instead my own. I’d much rather have a unique lightsaber. That’s why my dream has always been to own a lightsaber from UltraSabers.com. They are pretty awesome and range in prices from $65 – $300+!

This is kind of a cheat item on my wish list. But wish list doesn’t really have to be physical items, right? I really wish for a successful wedding as I am currently in the process of planning. I wouldn’t say it’s the hardest task at all since I’ve done lots of party planning in the past. But what makes it a little different is that it is for your special day, and you really only get one. I believe that everything will fall into place in the end.

What do you want most for Christmas? Are you done with shopping?
