A couple of months back, I bought The Body Shop’s Nutriganics Smoothing Mask $22. I’ve been using it consistently about twice a week and I love it!
According to the Body Shop’s product claim, it says:
Best if you want to: Treat your skin and help boost radiance with a deep-cleansing mask that leaves skin feeling silky and smooth.
How it works: Community Trade organic babassu oil from Brazil smoothes and revitalizes skin. Organic mallow flower from Switzerland, Community Trade organic sugar from Paraguay and Community Trace organic olive oil from Italy moisturize and soften skin. Organic buddleja and thyme from Switzerland help protect the skin. Damask rose, geranium, thyme, fennel and orange essential oils have been blended together to create a gently fragranced scent.
The product also says that its for “First signs of aging.”
The product mask is very thick. It doesn’t smell bad or anything, in fact I like how it smells. When applying the mask, it spreads on very smoothly. The directions say to leave the product on your face for 10 minutes before rinsing and to avoid the area around your eyes and lips.
When you first apply the mask, it has a opaque greyish white color. You really don’t need to apply that thick of a layer. I always apply the minimal amount. After about 10 minutes of killing time while waiting to wash your face, the mask turns clear! You can’t really tell that you have it on unless you start making weird faces and notice the wrinkles that the mask remembers from distorting your face.
I really do love this product because after rinsing, my skin feels completely hydrated. Also, this product lasts for a while! You wouldn’t need to re-purchase for a good many months.
