In December, I went to Las Vegas with a few of my friends. It was one of those weekends where everyone you know is going to be there. Unfortunately, I was unable to spend more than one night in Vegas, so I decided to hit up a few of my girls to see who was down to do Vegas for one night.
Thank you Grace for driving, and Michelle & Teewa for tagging along. Also thank you Josh for the lovely suite!
I feel like car rides to Vegas are always so boring, so I usually like to start partying early, but since I wasn’t driving, I decided not to. The drive felt surprisingly fast though since we talked the drive there.
Haha, Instagam~ I swear I’m always on this App. We saw lots of snow on our drive to Vegas too.
Once we arrived at the Las Vegas strip, we met up with my friends who we were staying with to get into the room.
To my surprise, they got a suite! I love staying in suites~ Here is the living room…
On one end of the living room was a hallway that led to a bathroom and accessible from the living room is a bar area.
Here’s another view of the living room from the other side. The place is pretty messy, yes I know.
In another hallway, there is an entrance to the master bedroom, which is where me and my friends slept. It was nice because we had a lot of places to get ready, such as this powder room.
Here’s the master bathroom. As a tradition, I like to soak my feet in the bathtub after clubbing in Vegas, but that never happened.
When we first arrived at the hotel room, we immediately threw our stuff everywhere and made ourselves at home since we were tired from the drive. But we knew that we had to start getting ready since we didn’t have much time in Vegas. This is what Teewa and I wore during the day.
S&T love to camera whore.. haha, we did lots of that. So much that I think we sort of lost track of time for a bit.
I’m not sure why we were doing this, but we stood on the table in hopes of raising the roof. LOLOL, so ugly.
The group is now complete with the addition of Jiawen who was already in Vegas since the night before.
A fun little gif for you guys. We let the guys take photos of us on the couch, but instead of taking photos and letting us pose, they kept shooting off the shutter very quickly.. so we have lots of random blurry photos.
After we all finished taking photos and shots, we decided to take a walk around the strip. We ended up at the Mirage and took some jello shots there. They were yummy, but also quite surprisingly strong!
Haha, back at our hotel, we took a few fun pictures of us looking up someone’s skirt.
After we finished walking around the strip, we headed off to dinner. We ate at an All You Can Eat sushi restaurant. I didn’t eat as much as I would have liked to, but the food was good. I had the spiciest Indian food a few days before the trip, which gave me the worst stomach problems for a whole week after!!
Once dinner was over, we went back to our hotel room to get ready for the night. Look at the view from our suite! I like looking at city lights. Lights make me happy.
This is the makeup that I did for clubbing at Marquee in the Cosmopolitan. Nothing too crazy since I felt a little lazy.
Here’s the group again, all dolled up! Everyone looks so cute.
Lol, I think I look much better in these blurry photos. Yea!! Here are photos inside of the club. Nice and blurry, dark, and fun. Just the way I like it.
We were camera whoring inside of the bathroom at the club. Once again, we lost track of time. But what can you do, girls will be girls.
On the bottom left of the photo below is the reason why I originally went to Vegas.. for Tina’s birthday!! Happy Birthday!! And here are some other lovely ladies from my sorority that we ran into.
Overall the club was fun. At one point, my feet were completely killing me. But after we found someone’s table to sit at, they heeled right up and I was ready to walk another mile or two.
A night at the Marquee is incomplete without the infamous photo infront of the draping crystals!
I wish I could put these crystals in my home, lol.
When we arrived back to the hotel room, Jiawen’s boyfriend realized that he lost his iPhone! What a horrible way to end the night… I felt so bad. So I went downstairs with Josh to buy a box of pizza for everyone. By the time we got back, everyone was already fast asleep. More pizza for me!
Haha, Michelle is so small. Look at her on the end of the bed in the photo below! How cute!
The next morning after everyone woke up, we headed back over to the Cosmopolitan to eat at their buffet, Wicked Spoon. There were so many yummy dishes, but ahh~ the Indian food from earlier that week kicked in again. #fail
At least this Shirley Temple tasted really good!
Oh, and best not forget the chocolate covered strawberries.. with oreo on it! Zomg.
The buffet was the perfect ending to our short Vegas trip. Here is a group photo of everyone in our hotel room (plus two extra special guests). See you again soon, Vegas!! But next up, is Big Bear!
Hope you enjoyed my trip photos. Yea, yea, I know.. There wasn’t anything special, lol. Whatever. See y’all soon!
