Geo Starmish Brown Circle Lens Review

Happy Friday

It’s time for another circle lens review! As you may have read in my last review for Fynale J01 Honoo Blue, I received 2 pairs. So now lets have a look at the other pair.

I was sponsored the Geo Starmish Brown circle lens (~$22) from Love Shoppingholics for my cosplay character, Naoe Kanetsugu from Samurai Girls. I’ll be wearing this cosplay on Friday at Anime Expo in Los Angeles.

Origin: Korea
Diameter: 14.50mm
Water Content: 38%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Life Span: 1 year disposal*

*I don’t recommend keeping any circle lens for
more than 4 months (which is already realllyyyy pushing it imo)

Geo Starmish comes in two different colors: Grey and Brown.

My thoughts on the color:

When it comes to color, brown circle lens are always a little more tricky than a lot of other colors like grey. Brown circle lens come in a large variety of shades such as orange, yellow, hazel, dark brown, light brown, warm, cool, etc. These different shades vary so much that individuals usually have a strong preference as to which type of brown they like or hate. This goes back to the fact that the people who typically choose brown circle lens are looking for something natural that simply enhances their natural eye color. Thus, we have the two sides, the natural brown eyed look VS. the look at my super brown eyed look.

With that said, I think these brown circle lens fit almost in the middle between “natural” and “look at me”! But I would say that it’s a tiny bit more on the “look at me” side. If you are looking for a brown circle lens thats pretty natural, but pops a little more than your average natural brown lens, then these are perfect for you! I really love the look of these lens so much. I feel like my eyes are beautiful.

Let’s take a closer look at the design:

These circle lens, like many others, have a black rim to help make your eyes appear larger and more defined. I think the black line is nice and can even compliment your eyeliner makeup if you do it correctly. Beautiful black eyeliner and black outlined circle lens are a match in heaven.

Moving past the black outline, we have the brown. This brown is a little more of an orange shade and has some areas that are more transparent than others to help blend with your natural eye color.

Also, here’s me with and without the lens, as well as indoor and camera flash lighting.

Overall, I love these circle lens for an everyday look. They look great with both minimal eye makeup and even when you are completely dolled up. It’s the perfect pair to own if you could only pick one! Truly one of the best in all around usages.

What do you think of these circle lens?

Here are some camera whoring photos that I took of myself. Sorry I don’t have very good photos of myself!! But don’t worry, you will be seeing more of these circle lens in the future~
