~* M E R R Y C H R I S T M A S *~
This truly might be my most favorite time of the year,
besides August (since that’s my birthday month ^^;;)
Who doesn’t love lights? It’s just too beautiful!!
Oh and before I forget…
This is my Christmas tree this year. Didn’t really have time to get a legit one, so this is just a small fake tree that we have stored in the garage normally. I think it’s better than nothing, and it definitely helped liven up our house!
Here’s our first Christmas card together, too! Awww, it makes me sorta giggle every time I see the card because it reminds me that I’m on my path to starting my own family now.
I have another YouTube video for you all.
I don’t really make too many videos, so I’m not very good at it yet.
But trust me, I want to and I am *trying* when I can.
I apologize for this video because the quality of it isn’t very great…
I think after my last software update, the driver for my webcam doesn’t work well now!
So, I need to look into that because my video feels very wobbly.
You’ll see what I mean.
But if you don’t want to watch,
skip down below to read about what’s in my video instead.
Here’s the box that I got in the mail. It’s my first time so I really didn’t know what to expect! They really did jam pack the box full of goodies though.
Most of these are actually pretty useful, even if it’s something that I wouldn’t buy. I’m sure I’ll end up putting each of these to good use.
Skinny Cow Candy ($3.99/box, $1.09/pouch)
This candy is unbelievably chocolatey. It truly does melt in your mouth and the portions are very generous! For only 130 calories, it’s hard not to want to eat more than one of these at a time. The flavor I got was Peanut Butter Creme, and it tastes just like a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup. Yum!
Ducklings Mini Rolls ($2-3)
This tape is really easy to use, and I’d probably prefer it over your typical grey colored masking tape. It’s super easy to rip by hand and is great for small repairs, trimming out projects, or when you just need a little tape! The pattern on the tape is (kinda) cute too. Not sure exactly what I’ll use it for, but I’m sure I’ll find something in the future!
Rimmel London NEW Show Off Lip Lacquer ($5.49-5.99)
The color from this product is cray cray (lol). No but seriously, it’s ultra intense! You don’t even need to apply much of it to get a brilliant smooth color. Available in 14 shades. The one I have is 401 Aurora. I wore this yesterday and it lasted basically until I started eating hot pot. There are photos of me wearing this lip lacquer both below in this post and in my youtube video. Check it out!
Puffs Ultra Soft & Strong To Go Tissue Pack ($0.49/single pack)
These are really useful, I’m not kidding. Sure you might open up the #JollyVoxBox and think, oh great, they gave me tissues. But no, I’m more like, OMG! THEY GAVE US TISSUES!! Lol, you have no idea how often I’ve been thinking about how I need to carry around little tissue packs. To be honest, I’m sorta tight on money so I never bought any. Currently, I just stuff random napkins and even toilet paper into my purse. It’s always a smart idea to have some sorta napkins with you as you’ll never know when you’re in an emergency (ex. Bathroom with no paper).
NYC New York Color HD Color Trio Eye Shadow ($2.99)
I think the best thing about NYC products is the price point. All of their products are decent and so damn affordable! This is an awesome trio that delivers high intensity color with a silky soft texture. Really great for creating a natural smokey eye look or even for simple contouring! I think this is a must have if you don’t have these colors already.
I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
To end this post, let me show you a close up of my Christmas Makeup.
Eyeshadow: Urban Decay (Last Call, Mildew, Polyester Bride, & Sin)
Eyeliner: From my T-Mart Set
Eyelashes: YSL Babydoll Mascara & Ebay False Lashes
Lips: Rimmel London NEW Show Off Lip Lacquer
And lastly, here’s a crap ton of my camera whoring photos!
Yes, I know it’s a bit much, but I couldn’t resist taking photos!
I really liked this lip color.
Happy Holidays!!
And I’ll see you all again soon before the new year ends.
Have a good one.
Thanks for reading!
xoxo Sarah
