Halloween Weekend: Party, Costume, Makeup, & Hair

I KNOW, I KNOW~ Halloween is over… but… I haven’t made my post yet on Halloween! Jeez, it always feels like right when Halloween is over, all of the Christmas festivities take over. I remember shopping at the mall a week before Halloween, and there were already Christmas decorations at Macy’s! Wow, like seriously? Does Christmas need to start this much earlier?

Haha, alright, enough on my ranting. Here’s what I did on Halloween + some bonus costume, makeup, and hair. 

For Halloween weekend, our good friend Jimmy from NorCal came to stay with us at our apartment. Friday night, we decided to go do the Hollywood Club Crawl. When we looked on the website, it said to come in costume! O-M-G! I totally forgot that it was Halloween weekend! I was so focused on the fact that Halloween was on a Wednesday, that I never stopped to think that all of the events for Halloween would be celebrated the weekend before. So I actually didn’t have a costume… and neither did any of my friends. Luckily, I managed to pull some things together for a half-a**ed costume, lol. My good ole trusty leopard cat ears that I got from my big sis back in college.

The club crawl was pretty fun. Basically you meet at this bar first, where you can get pretty cheap alchy. Then you party with the club crawl group and go to 3 different clubs. It’s not really a bad deal, especially on a holiday weekend. You don’t have to wait in line to get into the club or pay entrance admission, just the flat $20. The only down side is if you get left behind at a club, because you only get about 45 minutes at each club. But then again, if you are having fun at one of the clubs, why not just stay there for the rest of the night?

We managed to make it all the way to the end of the night and finish the entire club crawl. I would say its well worth it if you don’t want to plan things and you just wanna party.

Saturday night we ended up going to Busby’s East. This night was soo last minute because we didn’t get there until midnight! I had lots of fun this night though, possibly more than Friday night, just because it was all casual fun.

One of our friends happened to have a table there, so we did what we do.. leech on seats.

Here’s what I wore.. with heels of course! This is the only full length mirror that I have in my apartment besides my closet sliding doors.. but the lighting is very bad where my closet is.

My eye makeup~ just the basics because I was feeling lazy and I was not so sober.

Here is my hair. Lots and lots of teasing. Omg, my hair hates me. Ah! And I learned that when you want to untangle the tease, you aren’t supposed to comb it out! lol, I did this at first until I looked it up online.. You’re supposed to just jump the gun and go straight to conditioner!

Ok here’s a bunch of photos of me camera whoring. Not really proud of them as I don’t really like how I look too much. Mainly my hair. Not a fan of it. It’s a bit too dark for my taste. Can’t wait to dye it again!

Okay, thats all for now. By this time tomorrow, I will be in New York City! I know its a bad time to be traveling there, but I made these plans before the storm hit! I will be staying at my brother’s place in Brooklyn Heights. I hope I will be able to get around with public transportation  

I will be back from NYC next Wednesday and will post about my trip sometime that week hopefully.
