Parcel Exchange With Kirstie-Ann

Recently I received a package from Kirstie-Ann of Petit Papillon De Nuit. By the way, if you haven’t been to her blog, it’s simply amazing!

I’ve been visiting PPDN over the last several months and have seen how much it has grown and changed. It truly is one of my favorites and definitely a blog that I look up to! I find much of the content to be very unique and also see the blog as one that is pushing new limits in the blogging world. Totally an inspiration to me

So this package came out of no where. I had no clue when it was going to arrive, so when I came home to my apartment one day, it ended up making my day.

Inside of the package, the items were nicely wrapped in black tissue paper with lots of shiny heart confettis. What a nice little touch!! Also, the tissue paper had a really nice smell to it. Just random little details that I’d like to take note of. Lets take a closer look at what I got.

Chocolate!! We have chocolate coins in America, but I don’t really see them too often? I’ve never seen Cadbury Roses before. All of the flavors were super delicious, I think the Golden Barrel was my favorite. I liked the chocolates a lot because they weren’t overly sweet like the ones here in America. Thanks so much Kirstie-Ann for sharing a bit of your Christmas traditions with me!

Besides the chocolate, I also got a beautiful headband from Miss Millie, a little independent jewelry shop. Everything there is made by hand, how nice is that! I am planning on wearing this headband on New Years Eve.

The necklace and earrings are from Kitsch Bitch. I think they are both so cute, I’m actually wearing the necklace right now as I am typing!

Kirstie-Ann also wrote a card along with the gifts and I thought it was the sweetest message ever. I was really touched, lol. I love reading letters. I am a card kinda girl.

If you are wondering how our parcel exchange got set up.. it was through Blog Cat! This is another great blog that I recommend (although hasn’t been updated since Nov.)!! Check it out~ PPDN and Blog Cat are actually friends, so I guess it makes sense why both of their blogs rock!
