Today I am going to review the SUKI Luxurious Wonderful Cosmetic Kit (~$36.90). I was sponsored this product from LoveShoppingHolics.com for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own and are in no way influenced!
I received the product in a well packaged shipping box with bubble wrap. Below is the actual product itself.
It comes in a cute purple box that opens up like a door.
The actual cosmetic kit is this gold pleather zipper case.
When you open it up, there is a decent size mirror, perfect for applying your makeup. All the make up that I used in this tutorial was through this kit’s mirror.
Aside from the large mirror, there are 6 eyeshadows and 2 double ended eyeshadow brushes, blush and blush brush, foundation and applicator, mascara, and lip gloss.
Now lets take a closer look at each of these…
The lip gloss isn’t too pigmented. I would say that it looks pretty natural on the lips, but gives the perfect amount of shine. Love it!
Lip Gloss Rating: ★★★★★
- not sticky
- moisturizing
- no glitter or sparkles
- shinny
- works great over lipstick too
Next we have the mascara. Honestly, I can care less for this mascara. I don’t think it does anything at all! I tried so hard to apply it on my lashes but couldn’t seem to get much on them. Even after dozens of coats and finally getting some mascara on my lashes, it didn’t give them much volume or length at all. It even weighed my lashes down, which is very upsetting. This is my least favorite product in the kit.
Mascara Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆
- no volume
- no length
- hard to see the mascara go onto the lashes
- weighs down lashes
- takes too much effort to see minimal results
Okay now it’s time to have a look at the eyeshadows. I must say that I do love the eyeshadows!! The colors are very vibrant and super pigmented. I wouldn’t say that the eyeshadows are sparkly, but most definitely the eyeshadows have a nice shine to them. The shine makes the eyeshadows appear cooler, which looks great on asian skin tones and those with a nice tan.
Here are the eyeshadows swatches on my arm. I think you are all smart enough to figure out which color is which, right?
Ha, here are all 6 colors applied all around my eyes. I did a really crappy job since I did it fairly quickly and I probably could have used more blending and more color… But you get the point~ This was applied without any eyeshadow primer too, and stayed on my eyes bright and pigmented for a long time.
Eyeshadow Rating: ★★★★★
- pigmented colors
- beautiful shades
- not glittery, but makes your eyes shine
- looks great in different lightings
- lasts a long time
- smooth color and easy blending
Next we are going to take a look at the blush and foundation swatches. Blush is on the left and foundation on the right.
The blush color is a beautiful light pink. I love this color on skin, however it is very subtle. You don’t really notice it too much from a far, but it’s enough to make some difference up close. The brush applicator makes applying the blush easy. With just a few swipes on each cheek, you can add some nice color to your face. I imagine that this would look better on lighter skin, but I’m sure it will still look cute if you’re a bit tan.
Blush Rating: ★★★★☆
- easy to apply
- goes on smooth
- very cute color
- looks natural
- a little hard to notice
Lastly, let’s take a look at the foundation. The foundation applicator is a bit inconvenient to use. The sponge is the exact same size as the container for the foundation, making it hard to pick up. Also I can’t imagine the sponge applicator to last longer than a few usages. It would have been nice if they had provided another brush for the foundation, but I guess the foundation wouldn’t work as well that way.
Something that I thought was weird about the foundation is that the top layer started off being really smooth, but later as I got towards the bottom the foundation started having these hard little rock-like things in it. Do you see it in the photo below? The bottom half of the foundation is the part that was untouched.
Foundation Rating: ★★★☆☆
- light to medium coverage
- smooth application
- doesn’t break out the skin
- skin doesn’t look dry
- foundation color blended well with my natural skin
- overall my face looked better
- red spots were less apparent
- application sponge is inconvenient and cheap
Well that’s everything in the SUKI Luxurious Wonderful Cosmetic Kit!! Now the question is… is this kit really that luxurious and wonderful?
I guess I would say it’s somewhat luxurious in the way that the product is branded. Overall I do think that it is a wonderful kit in certain aspects. With most kits, there is always bound to be something that isn’t exactly to your liking. For me, it was mainly the mascara. But for you, it might be something else like the foundation!
As a whole though, I think it’s great if you are on the go or going somewhere for a day or two and need a travel makeup kit. The one thing that’s for sure lacking with this kit is some eyeliner! I think that is a big must and is the one downfall to this being a great kit.
SUKI Luxurious Wonderful Cosmetic Kit Review Overall Rating: ★★★☆☆
- usable makeup
- great for trips or on the go
- would be more valuable if it had eyeliner
- mascara is useless
- beautiful pigmented eyeshadows
- love the lip gloss
- foundation has light to medium coverage
- blush makes you look youthful
- a perfect kit for those who travel, or for teens and young adults
- kit is valuable, but maybe a little overpriced

Unfortunately I don’t own this product anymore to be able to give you a sure answer. However, I would agree with you that it has a little yellow tone to it.
