Sio Brown Circle Lens Review

Today we are going to review the Sio Brown Circle Lens (available for $30 from Klenspop.com). These lens were sponsored by Klenspop.com decades ago.

I’m a horrible person because…

1. it took me ages to use these lens
2. when I finally used them, it took me forever to edit all the photos, and
3. I’ve had the images uploaded to my blog for a while but never got around to writing!

I have so much guilt. But atlas, here I am forcing myself to make time to write it up. Hopefully their marketing team doesn’t hate me. This most likely will be my last circle lens review for a long while, so hope you enjoy!

All of their lenses come in a cute box with a free contact lens case and tongs. Here’s a closer look at the lens containers themselves. Yes, please ignore my high prescription.

Now after plopping both circle lenses into the case, we can have a closer look at the design.

As you’ve probably noticed, there’s a very obvious swirly motion going on. It’s actually less apparent when you’re wearing the lens. In fact, no one ever notices that I’m wearing colored contacts.

The colors are very subtle and match my natural iris’ quite perfectly. There are no orange tones, and it’s a very cool brown color, which exactly what I prefer.

Typically if you have a lens with a black edge, it causes your eyes to pop more. But since the Sio lens has a black edge that spirals and fades inwards, the effect is different. As a result, the lens look more natural while still maintaining the enlargement effect. Neat, huh?

But the best part about these lens is that they are HEALTHIER FOR YOUR EYES!!! Yes you read that correctly. I was sooooo excited when I learned more about these lenses that I was literally jumping for joy. Here’s why you should be too:

• made with new silicon hydrogel technology
• easier for your eyes to breath
• feels hydrated
• more comfortable (yes, even more than your most comfortable lens)
• 45% water content (trust me thats a lot)
• strong UV blocking

If the new silicon hydrogel lens technology hasn’t convinced you to try out these lenses for yourself, maybe these photos of how beautiful the lens are will.

I truly think that these are the perfect everyday lens. Keeps your eyes looking beautiful (in every type of lighting might I add), while being healthier than your average circle lens. It really is the best of both worlds. The only better option that I can think of are daily disposable lenses.

And finally, I’ll leave you with some close up angled eyeball shots. Still looks great up close! But trust me, no one will probably look into your eyes as close as my SLR camera is looking at mine.

This has been my everyday go to lens and I love it. Been wearing the same pair for months without any issue. Each wear feels like it’s a fresh pair.
