For a good while now, my Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner has run out. It still draws, but not as dark as it used to. Now it seems to look like a more washed out water color. I’ve been resorting to using my gel & brush eyeliner lately, but I’m really too lazy to use it on a daily basis. So I finally decided to go out and get myself a new liquid eyeliner. I bought the Stila Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Intense Black (~$20 from Sephora).
The packaging is quite simple and sort of cheap in fact, but the product does the job well.
Here you can see what the eyeliner looks like and how the felt tip is. The pen is a comfortable size to hold, small, and easy to carry around if you need to. The tip of the eyeliner isn’t overly soft, so you get that bit of control that you need to make fine lines. But it’s also not too stiff either, so that you can create fluid and nice smooth curves.
You can draw different thicknesses depending on how much pressure you apply the pen with and also by how you angle the pen. It’s really easy to achieve almost any look with this eyeliner as it is heavily pigmented. The name Intense Black doesn’t lie! I probably should have shown you how the eyeliner looks on skin instead of paper, since it seems to have bled a bit…
Here is a photo of me using the eyeliner. It works great and it’s super black and noticeable. You can make it really thing and close to your lash line for a natural look, or really dramatic and thick.
The eyeliner took me a couple of tries to get used to. You kind of need to be careful when applying the eyeliner since the tip is loaded with so much liquid eyeliner.

How do you know when it runs out?
you can tell when its running out when the black isnt as black as it used to be or when the ink isnt flowing as much. it will start to feel like the tip is drying out and go on and off between having ink and not having so much of it.
